The Forum will take place at the Convention Center of Barbastro, equiped
with the best technology in communications and the latest audiovisual technology.
The main focus for the Conference will be on TELEMEDICINE, and from there
to get in more depth into Medicine research in Spain and Europe as the engine and
the dynamic agent for Health Care Organizations.
The Forum will hold the Central Conference for the deployment phase of the
Health Optimum Project
The objectives of the Forum are:
- To Introduce the vision that Europe and Spain have about Telemedicine as well as
to exhibit displays and new Technologies that tech companies are offering to Telemedicine.
- To favor the exchange of knowledge and experiences among people involved in Research
in Health Care Sciences.
The Forum will be organized in two parts closely related to each other:
- First, the analysis of the current situation and the future of the Telemedicine
throughout debates, from the point of view of the Spanish and European goverments.
- Secondly, the Forum will open to current projects on Telemedicine, to facilitate
the understandingof new ways of development. Demos will be hold to show new services
derived from the current projects as well as demos provided by tech companies inthe
area of the Telemedicine.
The event will also provide recreational activities like field trips around the
Barbastro Somontano Region. Finally, those who are interested can make a visit to
the 2008 Zaragoza International
Exhibition.

REGISTRATION
From Friday February 22 an invitation to the European Forum on Telemedicine
can be requested. The confirmation of assistance is necessary in order to consider
the final number of participants.
INVITATION TO THE FORUM
It is only possible to attend to the Forum with the explicit invitation by the Organization.
This invitation includes assistance to all the presentations, small workshops and
demos specified in the Agenda including coffee breaks, work lunches and the Forum
Dinner. The invitation does not include transportation, hotel, rental car,
weekend activities. Please don't hesitate to contact us in the case of questions,
sugestions or feedback.
